Gemma got married in April this year in my hometown of Brighouse then on to East Riddlesden Hall, we'd booked in the date nearly 2 years prior as she was super organised. As it happens we actually knew each other when we were children, so it was a real blast from the past. We had an absolutely lovely morning, I was on makeup duty and we chatted about absolutely everything! The whole day was photographer by the dream team which is Carrie .. Read More

Emma at The HobbitMonday 15th Feb

Emma and Pete got married at the Hobbit in September 2015. After a foggy start to the morning and several cups of tea, I had the pleasure of doing the makeup for Emma, her Sister and Mum. I've never laughed so much, it was an absolutely fantastic morning.    Emma has the most beautiful and biggest eyes, what an easy job for me. She opted to go for a natural brown smokey eye, just a little darker to add a bit of drama wi.. Read More

Esta and her CherubsThursday 09th Jul

"Carys was absolutely brilliant! Never met her before, until she came to our house for the wedding make up trial and she was fantastic. To say I have a "limited" make up bag is the overstatement of the century - it has about 3 items, and I wear make up about once a year, so she had a bit of a job on her hands. She didn't overdo the make up at all and I didn't feel clarted up at all! And, as a bonus, she refitted my veil! If.. Read More

Spring BridalSaturday 15th Nov

This spring I had the pleasure of making up Gemma for her big day in Bradford. Gemma wanted to go for something natural, but with a bit of glamour! For the eyes I used Bobbi Brown Metallic eye shadows in Galaxy and Gold dust, to add a bit of bridal glamour, this was finished off with eyelure individual lashes, to add volume and length whilst still looking Natural. Gemma had been for her eyebrows tattooing prior to the wedding, they look.. Read More

Glossybox 3rd BirthdayWednesday 20th Aug

So it's that time of the month again, and I have to say Glossybox didn't disappoint... The main product that everyone received was the Philip Kingsley - Elasticizer. I have heard of this befor but never used it, it's a pre shampoo treatment to improve the texture and apperance of hair. It is to be left in for 20 minutes or more before shampooing. It has a light creamy texture, and doesn't seem to have a scent at all. I shal.. Read More

My first Real Techniques experience.Tuesday 15th Jul

So i've heard a lot of good things about the real techniques brushes but never tried them, so when they were on 3 for 2 at boots i couldn't resist. I got the Miracle complexion sponge and the expert face brush, my third item was unrelated (but looked nice) the Boujours Khol Kajal. I like the eyeliner mainly for the novelty aspect, but that's not important. So i have been trying out my new purchases for the pas.. Read More

This USA themed box is one of my favourite designs, out of curiosity I had a look at what they received in the US version of the Stars and Stripes Glossybox, interestingly the products are completely different, not necessarily better I don't think. Glossybox JuneMonday 14th Jul

The June Glossybox is a Summer Edition. Really impressed with the contents I feel the class has jumped massively from the May box. Here is my overall view of the contents. Glossybox May - Superdrug EditionMonday 14th Jul

I'm a little late blogging about my May Glossybox, mainly as i thought it was pretty crap all round haha! Having looked at others i definitely drew the short straw of the May boxes, and overall I just wasn't so impressed. It was massively hyped up, I felt Superdrug was a bit of a let down (nothing wrong with Superdrug, but it's not excatly an exciting brand) so here goes.... So this is my overall view, it was a full box.. Read More

The Future of CleansingSunday 12th May

After much debate, review reading, comparisons and penny counting, i did it i bought a Clarisonic Cleansing brush. The model I have is the Mia 2, it promises to tighten pores, remove makeup better than manual cleansing, improve skintone appearance and texture and generally upgrade my skin. If you haven't heard of Clarisonic before (where have you been?!), it's basically like a massive electric toothbrush for the face! But with the &.. Read More
